Hachi-ko
This project was really special! Working on Hachi-ko connected generations of my family, starting with Hachi-ko's signature teriyaki sauce recipe from my great grandmother Kisayo Tamiyasu and working with my uncle, cousin, and mom. Together with an amazing team of designers from Mesher Shing McNutt and Concourse Concessions LLC we tackled the rebranding of Hachi-ko, a cafe located in C gate of SeaTac Airport.
Connecting the Pacific Northwest, Japanese aesthetics, and Hachi-ko as the “faithful gathering spot” at SEA International Airport.
Near Gate C10 at the SeaTac airport check out these murals in person and grab some musubi and teriyaki! Location and details about Hachi-ko here.
